This EEO Public File Report is filed in Stations WLDS(AM)/WEAI(FM)’s public inspection file pursuant to Section 73.2080(c)(f) of the Federal Communications Commission’s (“FCC”) rules.

 During the period beginning on August 1, 2011 and ending on July 31, 2012, WLDS-AM/WEAI-FM filled three full time announcer vacancies.

 The station interviewed a total of fourteen people for the three vacancies.

 FOR STATIONS WLDS-AM/WEAI-FM

 During the time period of August 1, 2011 and ending on July 31, 2012, Stations WLDS-AM and WEAI-FM undertook the following Outreach Prong 3 menu option pursuant to the FCC’s EEO rules:

 1--Continued an internship program that was established during 2003, which is designed to assist members of the community to acquire skills needed for broadcast employment. During the time period of August 1, 2011 to July 31, 2012, WLDS-WEAI employed interns to work part time at WLDS-WEAI. Two people trained in nearly all areas of the radio station operation, from management, to news, farm, sports and traffic. The other two were strictly used as intern announcers on WEAI.

 2--Co-sponsored a Career and Employment Expo with the local office of the Illinois Department of Employment Security, an agency with substantial participation of women and minorities. The event was held April 12, 2012 at Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois. Nearly 130 employer groups (including WLDS-WEAI) set up exhibits, staffed their positions,

 distributed informational pieces and answered many questions from hundreds of job seekers and students who attended the event. WLDS-WEAI broadcast from the event. Program director Perry Brown, General manager Gary Scott, Sales Manager Mark Whalen, and sales reps Ryan McGuire and Mary Hankins encouraged a number of the attendees to submit job applications with WLDS-WEAI. Credit was given to WLDS-WEAI for the outstanding response (see attached letter).

 3-Attended a career fair at Jacksonville High School March 29, 2012. Spoke with a number of high school students about the opportunities that radio offers, and handed out several applications. Was attended by General Manager Gary Scott, and Sales Manager Mark Whalen. Thanked for participating in the Annual Two Rivers Education System Career Fair (see attached letter.)
