It started at 6 p.m. when 20-year-old Ronald Scott of the 300 block of East Walnut was arrested for criminal trespass to a residence. Scott’s mother and grandmother lived there and, after an argument with him about vehicle registration plates, apparently told him not to come back.

Scott’s girlfriend, 21-year-old Tashiana Williams, who lives with him, was with Scott when the incident occurred and punched his grandmother, 57-year-old Judy Wilson, according to Jacksonville Police. Williams was arrested when she went to the Morgan County Jail to bail out Scott.

She’s still in custody.

In a separate incident, Wilson was arrested for domestic battery after allegedly attacking Scott’s mother with a power cord and throwing a soda can at her during an argument over money.

Wilson remains in custody.
