With the school year right around the corner, local students will be adjusting to new routines in the classroom as well as after the final bell rings.

The Bob Freesen YMCA in Jacksonville is offering after-school programs to school-aged children throughout the Jacksonville area.

Kids attending the Y’s after-school programs will be assisted with homework, explore activities such as art, music and physical activities such as games, swimming and more. Financial assistance will be available to families in need, as the Y hopes to provide learning opportunities to everyone.
