City Council to discuss West Central Mass Transit temporary shutdown

Jacksonville aldermen have taken note of the temporary shutdown of West Central Mass Transit

City Council will discuss payment options for the transportation service that shuttles residents around Morgan County.

As for the Parks and Lakes Department, aldermen will review a change order to the PetSafe Bark Park, the purchase of a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado and bringing in a new pool slide for the community pool.

A number of traffic items and Wastewater project updates will also be voted on.

Recently appointment President of the Jacksonville Regional Economic Development Corporation Paul Ellis will be officially introduced to the City Council.

The workshop session starts at 6 p.m. And will be followed by the regular meeting. The action takes place at the Jacksonville Municipal Building.
