Crimestoppers requesting info on a local burglary

According to the Jacksonville Police Department, sometime between 11 p.m. on July 31 and 7 a.m. on August 1, an unknown person broke out a window to a residence on St. Andrews Drive and removed several items while the residents were asleep.

Among the items taken were two iPads, an iPhone4S and jewelry items consisting of three wrist watches and two rings. Also taken were credit cards and cash. The total value of the items was over $3,500.

Police are asking that anyone with information to submit a tip online at and click on the blue button on the home page.
