State Representative C.D Davidsmeyer was one of 37 young leaders from across Illinois who received a distinguished honor on Friday.
Davidsmeyer was named a graduate of the 2014 Edgar Fellows Program at the University of Illinois’ Institute of Government and Public Affairs.
The Edgar Fellows Program is made up of an assembly of scholars and practitioners of public policy across Illinois. Each year the program selects about 40 up and coming figures in the state for its week-long series of seminars and leadership training program.
Aside from Davidsmeyer, this year’s class included state legislators, local elected officials, state agency executives and young leaders of civic groups.
