There are still questions left to be answered about a death in Scott County.
Twenty-eight year old Andrew Long, of Decatur and a graduate of North Greene High School, died on October 18th at 2:48 PM at Memorial Hospital in Springfield.
Long’s death is now under investigation by Illinois State Police and the Sangamon County Coroner’s Office.
According to Jim Allman, Chief Deputy Coroner in Sangamon County, Long’s death is now under investigation after an autopsy was performed in Springfield.
Allman says that the cause of death has not yet been reported, and that the Coroner’s office is waiting on results from tests performed by the County’s Forensic Pathologists to determine the cause.
