An unusual sport is drawing a lot of attention in Jacksonville.
Over two dozen people made it out to the second MVP Disc Golf Circuit Tournament on Saturday.
The Disc Golf Club says these tournaments are getting more people interested in the sport and Jacksonville’s new disc golf course. Tournament director Randy Anderson talked with our reporting partners at WICS ABC Newschannel 20.
“We want to make sure people come out and enjoy the park. This is our second year doing tournaments so we’re just trying to let people know about this park and the course to get more interest,” says Anderson.
This is the second tournament this year for Jacksonville’s Disc Golf Club. They plan on two more tournaments in August and October.
