We have a follow-up to a story we first told you about yesterday morning.

An Ashland driver who reportedly suffered serious head injuries after an overnight accident on Tuesday morning in rural Morgan County has been cited for DUI.

Twenty-eight-year-old Matthew Ervin has been discharged from Memorial Medical Center in Springfield after police say he was driving eastbound on Literberry-Prentice Road just west of Prentice, failed to negotiate a curve, and rolled the vehicle several times.

Reports from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office show Ervin was also cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
