The City of Jacksonville’s Mayor has endorsed a candidate in the Morgan County State’s Attorney Race.
In a press release to WLDS-WEAI NEWS, Andy Ezard announced his support for current Morgan County State’s Attorney Gray Noll.
Ezard says, “Morgan County is very fortunate to have a prosecutor with his experience and background. I am pleased with the outstanding relationship between Gray and the Jacksonville Police Department when it comes to keeping our community safe. Not seven months on the job, Gray successfully tried and convicted a defendant charged with First Degree Murder before a jury.”
“The position of State’s Attorney is crucial to the safety and security of our community. I am confident that Gray Noll is the person to lead that office.” Ezard concluded.
Ezard is currently serving his seventh year as mayor of Jacksonville.
