A farm sprayer spill has resulted in traffic problems for Jacksonville’s main road for the past several hours.
According to the Jacksonville Police Department, the spill happened in the 2000 block of West Morton at around 10:26 a.m. when a farm implement device came off a trailer and struck a power pole.
The impact of the farm implement device caused the pole to snap, leading to traffic lights going out on Morton.
As of now the intersection where the spill occurred at West Morton and 104 has been cleared. Traffic lights from Libby westbound to 104 are functioning as a four way stop.
No injuries occurred during the spill.
