McCann, who has served as a Republican leader on the Senate Agriculture Committee since he began his career in the General Assembly, was presented with the honorary FFA Degree Thursday at the State Association’s annual convention.
McCann has also made agriculture and agribusiness a major focus through multiples pieces of legislation aimed at strengthening the industries.
The FFA Degree is awarded to individuals who have rendered outstanding service to agriculture education and FFA programs.
