Jacksonville man backing Trump with water tank

A Jacksonville man has turned a used water tank into a political sign for the Republican GOP Presidential candidate.

Harold Hayes tells WLDS-WEAI News he used the tank to water his horses until the City of Jacksonville notified him he couldn’t use it in town, due to a lack of license plates.

After receiving that news, Hayes painted the word “TRUMP” with a smiley face on the tank and hauled it to his property in the 200 block of West Lafayette and it hasn’t moved for the last five months.

“He is the only man running that is capable of doing the job. We don’t need more politicians, we need more jobs. If we don’t get them then we are all going to hell in a hand basket,” says Hayes.

Hayes notes he’s received plenty of compliments about the TRUMP tank.

“Oh everybody likes it, well the Trump fans do apparently,” says Hayes.

“Have you heard any negative feedback from it,” asked WLDS-WEAI News.

“Nope,” notes Hayes.

Republican Donald Trump, Democrat Hillary Clinton, Green Party candidate Jill Stein and Libertarian Gary Johnson will all be on the November 8th Presidential ballot.

The third and final Presidential Debate is tonight at 8 p.m.
