One local man is behind bars following his arrest yesterday on several counts of alleged delivery of meth and controlled substances.

The  Illinois State Police’s Central Illinois Enforcement Group, or CIEG Unit, apprehended 35-year old Ricardo Perez, of the 100 block of Loren, late last night. Perez was subsequently booked at the Morgan County jail at around 11:30 p.m. for three counts of methamphetamine delivery, and three counts of manufacturing or delivery of controlled substances.

While little information is available at this time, Perez is currently being held at the Morgan County Detention Facility.
