A Jacksonville salon is offering free haircuts for a good cause.

Hair Cuttery is teaming up with the National Network to End Domestic Violence, the leading voice for domestic violence victims and their advocates, for its spring Share-a-Haircut program, taking place May 5th and 6th.

Working through the national domestic violence program, Hair Cuttery at 906 West Morton will donate one free haircut certificate to a woman living in a domestic violcne shelter on either of those two dates.

The “Share-A-Haircut” program is in its fifteenth year and has benefitted three-quarters of a million people, according to Hair Cuttery officials.

The program is at all participating Hair Cutteries in the country.
