No arrests, no injuries following alleged robbery in Jacksonville yesterday

No one is hurt following an alleged robbery yesterday evening in Jacksonville.

According to authorities, officers with the Jacksonville Police Department responded to a report at around 5 p.m. of a subject who had allegedly been robbed in the 400 block of North Prairie.

Police reports say that the victim claimed that the suspect reportedly displayed a handgun and demanded money from the victim. The amount of money taken during the incident remains undetermined at this time.

According to police, the suspect has been described as a black male approximately five-feet, seven-inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds with short hair, a goatee and glasses.

No one was injured as a result of the incident, nor the case remains under investigation by the Jacksonville Police Department’s Investigative Division.
