Rep. Davis on board with resolution against President Obama

While the chances of President Obama appearing in court defending a lawsuit against himself highly unlikely, U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis says the decision to pursue litigation is sound.

Davis signed onto the resolution on Tuesday based on the accountability of President Obama and says there is only one way to figure it.
“It is the right thing the do because you have a president who is basically flaunting the constitution,” says Davis.

“He is flaunting the balance of power that hasn’t been done in the history of our nation. We can walk and chew gum at the same time.”

Davis notes that there are over 350 bills sitting in the “do nothing” Senate and says the American people need to stand up in pushing these pieces of legislation through.

Davis cites an example of where he believes the President is wrong: what Davis calls the “war on coal,” which, Davis says, threatens three power plants which snake from the Champaign-Urbana area, past Decatur, Bloomington-Normal, and Springfield, to the Metro East.
