If you’re a Jacksonville Cruise Nite enthusiast but don’t want to wait until September, you’re in luck- the second annual Spring Cruise Nite is on Saturday.

Joel Buchanan with the Jacksonville Cruise Nite Association told Gary Scott on WLDS’ “AM Conversation” on Wednesday the event is from 5 to 9 p.m. on Morton Avenue.

“We’ll have something similar to the fall cruise that everybody’s familiar with. We’re going to have open cruising up and down Morton Avenue between the cross streets of Main and Westgate,” says Buchanan.

“The headquarters for this event is going to be at West Side Auto Parts on Libby Lane behind Premier Bank and Green Chevrolet. They are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. So, kind of in conjunction with a bit of a customer appreciation anniversary celebration, they’re our title sponsor,” he adds.

Buchanan says signs will be posted.

The fall Cruise Nite is on September 17th.
