One Jacksonville man remains behind bars after being arrested yesterday for alleged meth-related activities.
Sometime prior to noon yesterday, the Illinois State Police Central Illinois Enforcement Group located 27-year old Kyle Henderson at his home in the 200 block of South Prairie.
Henderson was subsequently booked at the Morgan County jail and charged with alleged offenses of participation in methamphetamine manufacturing and possession of between five and fifteen grams of methamphetamine.
Master Sergeant Jamie Jackson of the Illinois State Police Task Force Commander of the Central Illinois Enforcement Group breaks down how the arrest took place.
“Our officers with the Central Illinois Enforcement Group have been receiving some information about Mr. Henderson being involved in manufacturing methamphetamine. Officers located him yesterday morning. They were able to arrest him on probably cause from a previous drug investigation where we obtained evidence from him in the past. And when they arrested him, he was found in possession of items to manufacture methamphetamine,” says Jackson.
Jackson says the Central Illinois Enforcement Group was assisted in the arrest by the Jacksonville Police Department, Morgan County Sheriff’s Office and the Illinois State Police Meth Response Unit.
Henderson currently remains lodged at the Morgan County jail and is awaiting for an assigned judge to set his bond.
