Three-vehicle accident seriously injures two near White Hall

By Nick Kovatch on December 26 at 7:30pm

An accident sent two White Hall men to the hospital this afternoon.

Greene County Sheriff Rob McMillen says 34-year-old Bradley Moulton was driving a 2000 Chevy pickup truck on West Lincoln just west of the White Hall city limits at about 3:15. The truck had a 1998 Chevy van in tow.

McMillen says for an unknown reason, Moulton stopped the vehicle at the crest of a hill, got out, and was in-between the truck and van when the van was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Curtis Costello.

McMillen says both men suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.

He says Moulton and Costello were airlifted to St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Both are still receiving treatment this evening.

McMillen says citations are pending further investigation.
