Icy roads caused a one-vehicle accident on Route 267 last night that sent two people to the hospital.
Morgan County Deputies say 18-year-old Evan Greenwood of the 1200 block of Lincoln was traveling northbound just south of Lake Jacksonville Road at about 8:15 when he lost control of his vehicle. It went off the roadway and into the west side ditch where it overturned.
Eighteen-year-old Paige Huntington of Murrayville and a 16-year-old boy were taken to Passavant Area Hospital.
The boy was transferred to Memorial Medical Center in Springfield where he’s in stable condition.
Huntington was treated and released.
Greenwood was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
