Two people were hospitalized after a motorcycle accident that happened yesterday afternoon.
According to reports from the Illinois State Police, 48-year-old Bobby Adams of Hillview and 38-year-old Billie Webb of Roodhouse were taken to Passavant Area Hospital after the wreck on the Winchester-Glasgow Blacktop, southwest of Winchester at around 5 p-m.
Police say Adams was southbound on the blacktop about a fifth of a mile north of Peak Lane when he lost control and ran off the right side of the roadway. Both he and Webb were reportedly ejected from the Harley Davidson and sustained moderate injuries.
Scott County Deputies and EMS, along with the South Jacksonville Fire Department assisted.
Adams was transferred to Memorial Medical Center in Springfield after initially being taken to Passavant. He’s listed in good condition.
Adams was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
