Two Jacksonville men facing charges related to alleged production of methamphetamine reached plea deals in Morgan County Court on Wednesday.

Thirty-four-year-old Joshua King of the 700 block of East Chambers was sentenced to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for methamphetamine manufacturing. He was given credit for 143 days served in local jail.

King also admitted a petition to revoke probation on a 2014 theft felony. He was given three years of mandatory supervised release, to be served concurrently on the 2014 and 2015 felonies. He was fined $730.

A charge of possession of meth manufacturing materials was dropped.

King allegedly entered an abandoned trailer on Brooklyn Avenue in May of this year for the purpose of cooking meth, adjacent to a residence where his pregnant wife, a child and elderly woman were all residing.

Also yesterday, a four-year IDOC sentence was given to 53-year-old Richard Graham of the 900 block of South Diamond for possession of less than five grams of meth.

Graham was one of three men arrested in August for allegedly running an active meth lab at the Knights Inn in the 1100 block of East Morton.

Graham was given credit for 65 days served in jail, ordered to serve one year of mandatory supervised release for the 2015 meth charge and two additional years of MSR on a 2014 meth delivery conviction. Charges of aggravated meth manufacturing and possession of a controlled substance were dropped.

Graham was fined $130.

The other two men arrested in August, Brian Downs and Virgil Riley, are scheduled to appear in court on November 4th.
