You can help the Jacksonville Community Food Center by running in this year’s Passavant Hospital 5K/10K run and walk later this month.
Race coordinator Kevin Eckhoff spoke with Gary Scott this week on WLDS’ “AM Conversation.”
“The Springfield Roadrunners Club have a race series, and we’re one of the races on that series. For the Roadrunners Club, you actually get points for participating in the race, and get points if you finish in the top three of your age category,” he says.
The race begins at 7:30 on Saturday, May 28th. You can register up until an hour before the race. Last year was the first year for a revised route for the race, which will begin on the east side of the hospital.
