One member of an area Sports Co-Op appears to not be very happy with their side of the agreement.
The Cass County Star Gazette says that the AC Central Board of Education is taking a long look at their sports co-op agreement with Porta.
The two school districts have been in a sports co-op since 2008.
According to the report, the AC Central Board is dissatisfied with the number of athletic events hosted at AC Central. The co-op agreement says that home games should be held at the school that is closest to the visiting team. Porta is currently a member of the Sangamo Conference for high school sports, with most teams in the conference located to the east of Ashland-Chandlerville.
Some school board members argued at their August board meeting that AC Central should host at least 1/3 of all home games for the co-op.
A look at enforcement of prior agreements with Porta is set to take place at future AC Central Board of Education meetings.
