An annexation request in connection to a four-million-dollar housing project in Cass County is coming up on a future City Council meeting agenda.
The Cass Star-Gazette reports the request from the Cass Affordable Housing Initiative will be placed on the May 9th agenda in Virginia, preceded by a public hearing. Aldermen approved a seven-acre piece of land for the development just west of the southwest corner of the city in February.
Twenty homes would become available if the project goes through.
