One of the eight people arrested in connection to an alleged meth lab in the 700 block of North East in Jacksonville has been sentenced.
Thirty-eight-year-old Russell Mullens of the 1-hundred block of West Dunlap was sentenced in Morgan County Court this morning to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for possession of methamphetamine.
Mullens admitted a violation of probation on a 2013 meth possession conviction as part of a plea deal in July. He was sentenced for that this morning as well, and the sentence will run concurrently with the 2015 conviction.
Mullens was also sentenced to one year of mandatory supervised release. He was given credit for 253 days in jail served.
All of the major players arrested in the 2015 case have since been sentenced.
