A man faces misdemeanor charges for smashing a cash register with a hammer at the Jacksonville Wal-Mart.
Thirty-eight-year-old Casey Quinnan, who is listed as homeless, was booked at the Morgan County Jail Saturday afternoon for criminal damage to property.
Jacksonville Police say Quinnan ordered food at the Subway restaurant, but there was a technical issue and his order couldn’t be processed. Police that’s when Quinnan grabbed the hammer and smashed the register.
Quinnan remains in custody at the Morgan County Jail.
