The Art Association of Jacksonville’s Annual Beaux Arts Ball is right around the corner.

The Glitz Glamour Gatsby, taking place on April 23rd at the JHS Bowl, is bringing back the era of jazz, flappers and Art Deco.

The 59th annual event will be led by co-chairwomen Jessica Freeman-Richardson and Amy L. Jackson.

According to a press release, proceeds from the Arts Ball go toward the presentation of monthly art exhibits by nationally and locally known artists, preservation of three permanent historic art exhibits and the overall upkeep of the David Strawn Art Gallery.

Patron tickets, which include admission to the coronation and “Speakeasy” at Hamilton’s, are $40 and general admission is $10.
