Trick or Treat times in the City of Jacksonville is from dusk until 9 PM on Sunday, Oct. 30 and Monday, Oct. 31.
South Jacksonville Halloween hours are Sunday, Oct. 30 and Monday, Oct. 31 from 6-9 PM.
City of White Hall says home owners wanting to participate in Trick or Treating on Sunday and Monday should turn porch lights on. Trick or Treaters should not go to homes without porches lit.
Hotel-o-ween, a special trick-or-treating event, will take place from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. Monday, October 31st, at the following participating Jacksonville lodging properties.

Cropmate Road Closed for Bridge Repair 10/31-11/2
Scott County Road District #7 will be closing Cropmate Road for bridge repair starting Monday, Oct. 31st thru Wednesday, Nov. 2nd Cropmate Road will be closed to thru traffic starting at Neelyville Blacktop Road and ending at Roth Lane.
Virginia Water Customers Boil Order is LIFTED
The boil order for City of Virginia’s Water Customers south of Broadway Street has been lifted.
Joe Page Bridge into Hardin One Lane Oct. 24-27
The bridge that carries Illinois Route 100 from Greene County into Hardin in Calhoun County will be reduced to one lane from 8 AM – 8:30 PM on Monday, Oct. 24th through Thursday, Oct. 27th for routine bridge inspection by IDOT. Motorists can expect delays.
Boil Order Lifted for Myrtle Street
The boil order in effect in the City of Jacksonville for areas between East Independence Avenue and East Lafayette Avenue for Myrtle Street has been lifted.
Boil Order for some of IC Campus
A boil order has been issued until further notice for buildings on Illinois College campus along Mound Road from Lincoln Ave. to Park Street. This is due to a water main break at Lincoln and Mound Ave.
Boil Order for some Scottville Rural Water Company Customers
A boil order is in effect for customers of the Scottville Rural Water Company Inc. in the following locations: Northeast of Modesto-Scottville Road only including Phillies Road, Workman Road, Staley Road, and Berean Church Road.
The order is due to maintenance work on water services and hydrants in the area. customers may experience little or no water pressure during these times.
Officials anticipate the boil order to be in effect through this Thursday, October 6th.

Repairs have been made to the bridge gate and the Florence Bridge has returned to normal traffic.
