Boil order for part of Exeter-Merritt Water Co op

The Exeter-Merritt Water Cooperative has a boil order in effect until further notice for only homes on VanGundy Rd., Cylinder Head Rd., and Harts Gravel Rd. due to a water main break. Please do not drink or cook with the water without boiling it first. Residents should flush their lines in their homes during and after the boil order and should remove/clean faucet aerator screens. The Exeter-Merritt Water Cooperative has all PVC water mains and plastic service line to each meter. If the customer has any iron pipes or fittings in their homes, they should take extra precautions and flush all the lines within their home to avoid any possible contamination of lead.
