Illinois State Police Troop 6 are on the scene of downed power poles and lines on US 67 in Morgan County. US Rt. 67 is currently closed from Koch Lane to the Cass County Line. Motorists are urged to use alternative routes of travel. The power outage is affecting Virginia, Beardstown and Chandlerville among others in the county.
