UPDATE: Car Accident Near Triopia High School

WLDS-WEAI News has received confirmation of an accident on the Arenzville black top this afternoon at approximately 3 p.m. near Triopia High School.

David Bunfill, a Volunteer Firefighter with the Arenzville Fire Department, there was only one vehicle involved in the accident.

“It was a single vehicle accident just south of Triopia School and south of Triopia-Literberry Road, a single vehicle van that flipped over in the ditch on the east side of the road. There were non-life threatening injuries of the people in the van and they were transported to the hospital,” says Bunfill.

Bunfill confirmed that a van rolled over into a ditch and that there were multiple injuries.

According to Bunfill, multiple agencies responded to the scene, including, Arenzville Fire, Chapin EMS, Morgan County Deputies, Chapin Resue, Meredosia Rescue, Lifestar Ambulance and American Ambulance.

Bunfill says he does not have any information regarding the identity of the victims at this time.
