A safe alternative to standard trick-or-treating for children is available this weekend at Central Christian Church.
Central Christian Church senior minister Rex Kibler says it’s a safe opportunity for kids to dress up and pick up treats from vehicle trunks.
“It’s also an opportunity to share on our site with children from the neighborhood.”
Kibler says the church, and other churches he’s been associated with, have been hosting this or similar events for 20 or more years.
The Trunk-or-Treat event at Central Christian Church is from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday in the church parking lot at 359 West College in Jacksonville.
