A familiar face is looking to get back in the race in the election for the 13th District Congressional seat.

Republican incumbent Rodney Davis will now face independent candidate David Gill, who filed nominating petitions with the State Board of Elections in Springfield yesterday. But, the “Champaign News-Gazette” reports Gill might not survive a ballot challenge.

Davis is already facing Democrat Mark Wicklund in November.

This is the fifth Congressional bid for Gill, who is 0-for-4.
