Greene County Congressman Rodney Davis has been asked to serve on a special committee by the newly-appointed Speaker of the House.
Davis explains he’s well-qualified to serve on the committee based on his years as a staffer in Washington, and feels reforms are necessary.
The committee will seek to change how the heads of the various committees are selected. According to the 13th District Republican, legislating in Washington is not as open as it should be.
Other members of the committee include House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California, Republicans Richard Hudson and Virginia Foxx of North Carolina, Bob Goodlatte and Morgan Griffith of Virginia, Bill Flores of Texas, and Luke Messer of Indiana.
