KHQA reports this morning that railroad traffic in the region may be slowed.
BNSF Railroad representatives confirmed to the Quincy media that crews are working to repair damage caused by vandalism to the Beardstown railroad bridge. The damage was done to unspecified cables on the bridge. Rail traffic will be backed up until the repairs can be completed.
Illinois River traffic will be able to continue.
