District 117 board members will have their hands full during tonight’s jam-packed meeting.
One of the leading action items on the night features a vote to consider bids for the Jacksonville Middle School project and a lease on the modular classrooms that will be used during construction.
Board members will also look to recommend a “secure location, develop a program and hire staff” for an alternative school for suspended and expelled students at the junior high level and younger.
A Vision 117 update will be provided by the District’s representative.
The meeting starts at Jacksonville High School at 7 p.m.
