Temperatures were down last month, and so was the precipitation.
The average temperature for February was just over 29 and a half degrees. That’s only a degree less than normal.
The day time highs averaged 39 and a half, and lows at just under 20. We reached 60 or better on 4 of the 28 days. The top reading was 69 on the 4th, and that was a record high.
The mercury drifted to single digits on 6 of the 28 nights.
We ended the month comfortably, with highs at least at 56 on the final five days.
Precipitation was only a third of an inch. That’s about an inch and a half below normal. And, was nearly identical to a year ago.
Snowfall closed at nearly 1 and three quarter inches. There was an over one inch snowfall on the 13th, but little else. We have averaged over 4 inches of snow in a normal February.
