A jam-packed agenda is what awaits Jacksonville aldermen for their final scheduled meeting of 2015.

The biggest item on the agenda is an intergovernmental agreement resolution between the City of Jacksonville, Morgan County and Passavant Area Hospital to create a combined dispatch center from the current three operations. Morgan County Commissioners also are scheduled to vote on that this morning.

Aldermen will also hold the first reading and, if successful, the second reading for amending the hotel/motel tax through the emergency clause.

An intergovernmental agreement with Morgan County regarding the Regional Planning Commission is also on the agenda, as well as a proposal for bids for a project connected to the city’s landfill closure. Aldermen will also discuss a state water survey for Lake Jacksonville.

Aldermen will also vote on the second reading of the tax levy ordinance and decide whether to approve a Revolving Loan Fund application.

There will be a Planning and Public Works Committee meeting prior to tonight’s workshop at 5:30.
