Candice Osborne pleaded guilty Monday to an amended Class 4 Felony of theft under $500.

She’ll serve 24 months of probation, was fined $1,000 , and ordered to pay $13,300 in restitution to Greene County. She must also serve 400 hours of community service.

Osborne pleaded not guilty earlier this year to felony theft and official misconduct. She was charged about a year ago with committing acts of theft between September 1st, 2014 and December 31st, 2011.

Osborne is alleged to have overstated the number of miles traveled in her monthly claims for mileage reimbursement and in doing so received more reimbursement money than she was entitled to.

The case was handled by special prosecutor Charles Zalar. Osborne was represented by attorney Craig Grummel.
