A former South Jacksonville man was killed in an auto accident in Minnesota on Friday.
According to the West Central Tribune of Willmar, it happened shortly before 10:45 a-m north of Hanley Falls, in the southwest part of the state.
Minnesota State Patrol officials say 36-year-old Eduardo Ramos Jr., who was more recently living in Mason City, Iowa, was driving northbound on a state highway in a Ford Focus when he crossed the center line, hitting a semi truck head-on.
The truck driver was not injured.
Memorial services for Ramos will be held on Friday at Buchanan and Cody Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
