Pikeland School District will have a familiar face returning next semester in the Superintendent’s Office.

The Pike Press reports that Todd Fox will return as the interim superintendent next semester after current interim superintendent Dr. Jo Campbell’s contract ends. Fox had stepped away prior to the start of the school year to take a position as a professor at John Wood Community College.

According to the report, the Pikeland School Board has identified a permanent superintendent candidate after conducting interviews earlier this month. According to their board meeting last Wednesday, they have identified a candidate they would like to hire but are unable to do so until after the school year is complete. The announcement of the candidate is expected at their regular November meeting.

Pikeland has been searching for a new permanent superintendent since November of last year after Dr. Carol Kilver announced her retirement last September.
