A Franklin man already in trouble with the law was arrested again yesterday in connection with two charges of methamphetamine possession.
Jacksonville Police arrested 43-year-old James Fanning in the 200 block of East Morton for possession of methamphetamine and methamphetamine manufacturing materials at around 1 p.m.
According to Jacksonville Police, Fanning became a suspect after an anonymous call Saturday led to police discovering meth manufacturing materials. Police say Fanning was at the residence, but left after he learned police were on the way.
Police report that finished products of methamphetamine were in Fanning’s possession during the arrest on Wednesday.
Fanning is in custody at the Morgan County Jail. He has not yet been charged after a March arrest stemming from his alleged participation in a meth lab home in northeast Jacksonville.
