A Greenfield man is facing drug charges after deputies found suspected marijuana and methamphetamine in his truck at HiWay House Motor Inn in Godfrey.

According to “The Telegraph” the drug case became public Wednesday. Court filings detail that a deputy recognized 25-year-old Derek Fogle in the truck and performed a parole status check on September 27th.

The deputy found a small amount of suspected methamphetamine and almost one-thousand-dollars in Fogle’s possession. “The Telepgraph” reports about 60 grams of marijuana, a digital scale and several small plastic bags were also discovered in the truck.

Fogle allegedly admitted to possessing the drugs, selling them in the area and that the money was from drug sales.

Fogle has felony convictions dating back to 2010, when he was convicted of manufacture or sale of marijuana.

Fogle was arrested on meth and marijuana charges and is currently behind bars.
