The Executive Director of Prairieland United Way will be stepping down from her position after accepting a marketing job at Passavant Area Hospital.

Lori Hartz made that announcement to WLDS/WEAI News after current Passavant Marketing Director Monica Eoff moved to a new position at the hospital.

She talks about her experience working for United Way.

“It has been 10 very rewarding years working for United Way. I have met a lot of people and formed some wonderful partnerships in the community. I feel like that is going to be a benefit for me as I go to work for Passavant.”

Hartz says she has worked closely with Passavant for many years and noticed Passavant’s successful affiliation activities. Hartz feels she can “make some great contributions” to the program.

“It will be my responsibility to develop the marketing plan for the hospital and to work with community needs assessments. I will also be sharing the hospital’s message to employees and the community as well.”                           :

Hartz says Passavant is working to make the transition as smooth as possible.

“Passavant is one of our largest partners so they understand the importance of United Way in this community. We want to make sure we can find my replacement and get them moving to keep the campaign going.”

Hartz plans to start at Passavant by the end of October.
