The executive director of the Morgan County Housing Authority was found guilty yesterday on battery charges.

Sixty-one-year-old Fred Clinton of Alexander was found guilty by Circuit Judge Chris Reif in a stipulated bench trial after Clinton waived his right to a jury trial.

Jacksonville Police arrested Clinton in July at Buffalo Wild Wings after the victim in the alleged incident reportedly told police that Clinton put his hands around her neck.

Clinton was ordered to serve one year of non-reporting court supervision and was fined $325.
