The football programs of Illinois College and Knox College will continue their tradition of giving when the teams meet on the gridiron this weekend.
Fans attending the game on Saturday at England Field are encouraged to bring new toys to the Bruner Center concourse. These items, as well as monetary donations, will go towards the Jacksonville chapter of Toys for Tots.
This is the third year the college programs have teamed up to help those in need. In 2013, donations were sent to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois and last year cans of chicken noodle soup were collected for the Galesburg-area charity Blessings in Backpack.
Kickoff for the game is at 3 p.m.
