Illinois College’s Relay for Life program is raising money for the American Cancer Society.
Community members will be walking on Saturday inside Bruner Fitness and Recreation Center to fight cancer. Activities such as face painting, team games, music and food will all be provided.
According to a press release, the IC student group Colleges Against Cancer has set a financial goal of $10,000.
The Illinois College Relay for Life program works with Tri-County Relay for Life. The event runs from 6 p.m. to midnight.
