IC scores high marks for service work in new ranking

The rankings come from the Washington Monthly College Rankings, which evaluates schools contributions in social mobility, research and service.

According to the list, Illinois College ranks second in the country in service staff, course and financial aid support. The study shows IC is ranked sixth in community service. Within the Midwest, IC is first in both categories.

Overall, the college is 59th in the country and 14th in the Midwest.

Illinois College was also praised for being a top 25 private school in the Midwest offering the best “Bang for the Buck.”
